Stained glass window 721 in St Mary, Amersham

Maker: Preedy F     Year: c. 1885

Location: St Andrew's Chapel     Type: 3 lights

Attribution: Kerney

Dedicatee: Elizabeth Julia Tyrwhitt-Drake *1885, wife of Thomas Tyrwhitt-Drake

Subject: Ascension
Agony in garden; Crucifixion; Resurrection

Comments: Pevsner says by Preedy, and church recorders are advised that the window was probably glazed by Ward & Hughes. This seems unlikely since Preedy had his own studio at this time. Only Christ's feet shown in the Ascension
